Naari Bollywood Dance Show on Charlotte In January 28th 2017

Ishanya Dance presents the first all-women production in the Triangle area of Naari, and ode to the essence of a woman. 'Naari' is a woman. She is a mother. A daughter. A wife. A sister. A friend. A fighter. A lover. She is the epitome of inner beauty, resilience, love, strength and humility. It is the 'she' that will be celebrated through Ishanya Dance Company's Bollywood dance production. The play set in English will provide a backdrop for colorful Bollywood dances. Each dance will take you on an artistic roller coaster of emotions - from happiness to pride to sadness to joy. The production vows to present a balance between high-energy Bollywood dances that will also address poignant issues facing today's 'Naari' , such as Domestic Violence, Save the Girl Child, No means No, Its my Choice, just to name a few. The show is a fundraiser for Kiran. The show will take place on Sunday, January 28 beginning at 4pm at Stewart Theater, 2016 Cates Ave., Raleigh, NC. All dialogues will be in English.
