Shakti Dance Presentation On Charlotte in November 19th 2017

Nrityangan Dance Academy cordially invites you to join Shakti, an empowering dance presentation on Sunday, November 19th, 2017 from 4:30-6:30pm as Nrityangan's dancers unite with a precocious five year-old Aashi's battle for a cure for Batten Disease, a fatal disease of the nervous system. Shakti is a saga of womanhood in various avatars exemplifying eternal strength and love. Aashi was diagnosed with Batten Disease, a rare and fatal neurodegenerative disorder that typically begins in childhood. It is a part of a group of disorders called Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinoses (or NCLs). The mission of Aashi's foundation is to spread awareness about this disease, support gene therapy trials and to ultimately find a cure. With a powerful dance performance signifying our strength, our community is joining together to help Aashi and others struggling with this debilitating disease.
